Kathryn Fisher Davies
Director, Senior Investment Consultant
I was raised in a modest home; money was not about status but about providing experiences and opportunities. My parents encouraged me to use my money wisely and to live life to the fullest. As a result, I spent many years living abroad fulfilling my desire to travel while building a career in sales and management before settling down in West Bend with a family. It was then that I started being recruited by my father; he was relentless. At first I was a bit reluctant, but after much encouragement, I joined his financial and investment practice at Baird. Here I found a new kind of passion.
I have over 19 years of experience as a licensed investment advisor in financial planning and investments. I began working with our clients and helping them manage their money, while encouraging them to live their dreams. I found that once they knew their money was safe and wisely invested they were more inclined to follow their passions in life. As they began sharing their experiences with me I saw them light up. I then realized the impact I had on their lives. I knew this was what I was meant to do.
My true passion as a financial advisor is to help my clients uncover their life purpose and passions; this becomes the focus of our work together. By instilling confidence that their money is wisely invested and their financial future is secure, they are constantly encouraged to live the life they have earned.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison and was an AFS Foreign Exchange student to Austria, and a Junior Year Abroad program participant to Universitaet Freiburg im Breisgau. I speak German fluently (and some French), have traveled to over 25 different countries, and look forward to future trips. I live in West Bend with my three daughters and enjoy walking, biking, and cooking.
